Backend engineer by trade, full-stack builder after hours.

I'm a senior backend software engineer with 12+ years designing, building, and scaling web applications and APIs. My career has moved through an offline-first mobile app for field teams in low-connectivity environments, backend and ETL work in banking and financial services, and now leading backend engineering for a healthcare communication platform, coordinating global production releases for a growing team.

These projects are where I point that experience at smaller, self-directed problems: full-stack apps built solo, self-hosted on my own cloud infrastructure with shared authentication and a CI/CD pipeline, and shipped to real daily users. I've also made videogames on the side, a different kind of project but more fun when doing QA and testing.
